A Brief History of Our School: 2000 - Current
2000
- The 'Band Shed' airconditioned
- Sports Storeroom built between classroom block and toilet block
- Decision to establish separate computer classroom
- Football (3 teams) home ground established successfully
2001
- Computer room established and functioning
- Football spectator shelter
- School totally fenced/gated/lockable
2002
- Music Room airconditioned
- Computer Room/Year 7 classroom gutted - arson - Term 1
- Computer Room restored Term 2/Term 3
- Additional security fencing - southern boundary
- New 'Caring Place' built - old room becomes Uniform Shop
2003
- Rose garden planted along retaining wall
- New school sign with changing messages
2004
- New Junior Playground
- Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service commences utilising Music Room
- New verandah added to OSHC building
- New display boards in shelter shed
- Purchase of 3 sets of football guernseys (Calvary Cats)
2005
2006
- OSHC registration approved for Childcare Benefits
- Four marquees purchased (colour representing each Sports House - Eyre: Green, Gambier: Blue, Frome: Red, Coorong: Yellow)
- Asphalt basketball court
- Music/Uniform/OSHC building upgraded
- Choir performance - Opening of Big W Store, Colonnades
- Choir - Adelaide Eisteddfod
- Concert Band - Strathalbyn Eisteddfod
- Cricket team (1 team), Basketball (4 teams), Football (2 teams), Netball (1 team), Chess (1 team) - all representing the school
2007
- New secured bicycle storage area built
- 'Taylor House' demolished
- New southern boundary fence
- New junior swings, sandpit and sunshelter
- Planting of additional London Plane Trees
Plans for 2008 include
- Further extension of western verandahs
- Additional paved play space
- 'Band Shed' upgrade
- Cleaning equipment 'roomette'
- Concrete edging to basketball court
